Readings forthcoming
As a follow-up to our Antiracism discussions, the Breakfast Club is dedicating the next 3 sessions to "The Color of Law" by Richard Rothstein. As we make our way through the book, we will dissect systemic racism and learn how we might begin to dismantle and rectify decades of intentional racist policies at local, state, and federal levels.
Each session will include a large group discussion along with small group discussions in Zoom breakout rooms— please RSVP so that we may plan accordingly. If you are unable to finish the reading for each session, we still encourage you to join the discussions.
To make the most of each hour session, we will send out discussion topics ahead of time with the Zoom meeting links, so please come with your thoughts, questions, anecdotes, and resources ready to share.
